In My Haven: March 31

This week in my haven I've been working on creating and getting the word out about sample sets for small business owners. I love having my products in local shops and want you to be able to find Haven Handmade goods in your neighborhood too. My sample sets include a keychain, a bookmark, and a welcome banner. Are there any shops in your area that you think should carry Haven Handmade products? Please let me know! You don't have to be a shop owner to get these goodies though. All three designs are now available in my online shop too.

I've also been doing lots of Easter prep this week. I wanted to have a new dress to wear for Easter, so I've been working on sewing the Antrim dress and I think it's going to become a favorite in my handmade wardrobe. Joanna's birthday also falls on Easter this year, and it's her golden birthday, so I want to make it extra special. Picking out items that will make the day memorable for her is so much fun. Gift-giving is definitely one of the ways that I show my friends and family that I love them. Being able to help you give special, handmade gifts to your loved ones is something I love too! Do you need a gift for an upcoming special occasion? Whether you're looking forward to celebrating Mother’s Day, a graduation, confirmation, first communion, birthday, anniversary, house warming, baby shower, wedding or other occasion, Haven Handmade can definitely make a gift that will be meaningful and memorable.

Sample Sets

Here’s a look at the three products I've included in my sample sets for shop owners. I think they showcase my signature appliqué style and represent some of my best selling items. What do you think? When you see these three items, do you immediately think of Haven Handmade? And if you want one (or more) of these for yourself, they're available to order in the shop! (Free shipping with the code MARCHFORWARD lasts another day, so hurry and order!)

More From My Haven

Since life isn't all business, here’s a little more about what’s happening in my haven this week.

  • What I'm Cooking: Raspberries were on sale at the grocery store this week and I couldn't pass them up, so I made some of these raspberry lemon muffins.

  • What I'm Reading: I am about halfway through reading Where the Crawdads Sing (Delia Owens), and I am really enjoying the story. The protagonist, Kya, is such an intriguing character.

  • What Joanna is Reading: Joanna and I are reading The Last Mapmaker (Christina Soontornvat). We are in the midst of the adventure and are looking forward to seeing what happens next!

What's happening in your haven this week?

Warmly,

Beth
