In My Haven: November 18
This week in my haven felt especially wintry! Not only did we have our first measurable snowfall of the season, but I also had multiple Christmas designs in the works. I am so excited to share them with you because I started designing them several weeks ago, so getting them out of my head and into fabric feels really good. I have to admit that I suffered from quite a bit of indecision about these three new appliqués this week though. You see, I started drawing up Christmas and winter appliqué ideas in early October, and I had over a dozen options. Narrowing it down to a reasonable number of favorites wasn't easy! I hope you like the ones I chose as much as I do.
Finally, I want to encourage you to order early if you're shopping handmade this year. I don't want to run out of time to make something special for you! As a sign of my gratitude for your support of my small business and to encourage you to make your order soon, I'm offering free shipping on all orders made from now through the end of the month. Use the code THANKFUL at checkout.

More From My Haven
Since life isn't all business, here’s a little more about what’s happening in my haven this week.
What I'm cooking: Last weekend I made a big pot of chicken noodle soup from scratch. It was dinner on Sunday night and then fed us for lunch for the next three days straight.
What I'm reading: I didn't read much of anything this week, but I did finish listening to The Fellowship of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien on the podcast An Unexpected Journey while I was sewing.
What I'm reading with Joanna: As I expected we would, Joanna and I started reading The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (C.S. Lewis). I guess I've been in the mood for comforting classics this week!
What's happening in your haven this week?
Warmly,
Beth
